Product feasibility
If you need an expert to aid with a product feasibility analysis get in touch. EMC/Safety/CE/RED
As an electronics design agency we are big on designing for EMC. We are here to help our clients understand their legal obligations before selling their products. We do this through consulting and collecting evidence for product technical files. Many of our clients are startups that have maybe not yet put a product to market and find the CE marking process a bit daunting; others have mature products but regulations change constantly; this is where we step in and help make it clearer for them. We are very familiar with the CE process for the LVD, EMC, RED, and RoHS directives.
Product safety is at the forefront of our designs. We consult companies on product safety to meet regulatory compliance such as the LVD. Typically our designs come under harmonised standards such as IEC 61010-1 or IEC 62368-1 but we have worked to other safety standards from specific industries, and will be happy to discuss your particular requirements for safety in collaboration with you.
A question we get asked a lot is: why don’t we just use CE marked parts? This is a complicated question and the answer is different for every project. The message we want our customers to understand more than anything though is that if you re-package two CE marked products together, their original manufacturer’s CE mark is no longer valid and you as the new manufacturer must take on that responsibility.
By bringing so many products through EMC testing we have become familiar with most of the 61000 family of standards. We are particularly familiar with EN 55032, EN 55011, IEC 61326, IEC 61000-6-1/2/3/4/5 and would like to help you be successful in the market by having compliant products.

General consultation
Sometimes you need a sounding board for your ideas and designs. We are happy to provide that to our clients, and sometimes talking through problems with someone who understands them can allow solutions to emerge much quicker than they otherwise would.
We also take on design reviews of your products/designs, giving you a fresh perspective that often unearths problems that would have otherwise gone unnoticed until they were more serious.
