Product feasibility

EMC
As an electronics design agency we are big on designing for EMC. We are here to help our clients understand their legal obligations before selling their products. We do this through consulting and collecting evidence for product technical files. Many of our clients are startups that have maybe not yet put a product to market and find the CE marking process a bit daunting; this is where we step in and help make it clearer for them.
A question we get asked a lot is: why don’t we just use CE marked parts? This is a complicated question and the answer is different for every project. The message we want our customers to understand more than anything though is that if you re-package two CE marked products together, their original manufacturer’s CE mark is no longer valid and you as the new manufacturer must take on that responsibility.
